Would you like to increase your knowledge and understanding of the NEC?

Our meeting this month will cover the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment (EVSE) and related infrastructure per Article 625 of the NEC.  Topics covered will include general installation requirements such as load calculations,  load management, existing service calculations, disabled access regulations (for commercial and MFD applications), metering, NEC-related issues, new CalGreen requirements, etc.  Everything you always wanted to know about EVSE installations but didn’t know to ask.  Effective July 1, 2015, CalGreen requires most new residential and non-residential construction to be “EV-ready”.  Also, Governor Brown has mandated that there be 1.5 million Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV) on the road in California by 2025.  So this will be timely and relevant information.

Chargepoint manufactures their own EVSE equipment and are based in Campbell, CA.  They have extensive experience both in California and nationwide with the installation of EVSE networks and also  multi-family dwelling and commercial EVSE applications.

Come join us for this informative presentation!

We will also have general code discussion of the NEC, so bring your code questions and get them answered!
