 e='font-size: 12.16px\;'>This workshop addresses numerous provisions in th
 e 2015 International Building Code (IBC) where the code contains requireme
 nts pertaining to establishing a means of egress in buildings. Readers wil
 l be presented with specific problems related to means of egress and will 
 be asked to solve each case study. The course is intended to help plan rev
 iewer or building code officials responsible for plan review identify thos
 e areas where plan review will include compliance with the IBC. During thi
 s training\, participants will be listening to lecture and viewing example
 s\, as well as discussing sections of the IBC that pertain to plan review 
 of a commercial building. They will participate in activities that involve
  a set of plans.</p>\n<p style='font-size: 12.16px\;'>LUIHSW units are ava
 ilable as Learning Units for AIA.  This class an ICC courses and taught by

 hitect with ICC’s Business and Product Development department and works ou
 t of the Lenexa\, Kansas Distribution Center. His primary responsibility i
 s the development of new ICC publications and instructing seminars. Among 
 the publications he has authored or co-authored are the <em>Significant Ch
 anges </em>books on the IBC\, IMC and A117.1 standard\, and the recent ICC
  book <em>Firestopping\, Joint Systems and Dampers</em>.</p>\n<p style='fo
 nt-size: 12.16px\;'>With over 30 years of experience in building design\, 
 construction\, code enforcement and instruction\, Jay’s experience provide
 s him with the ability to communicate effectively on issues of code applic
 ation and design for code enforcement personnel as well as architects and

  standard committee\, ICC’s Energy Conservation Code and the <em>Internati
